The Cyber View Story

Cyber View was founded in June of 1999 by Frank Garofalo. Initially we offered static web design and graphic design services. In August of 2000 Garofalo Enterprises Inc. was formed and became the parent company of Cyber View. Our main operation is located in Louisville, Kentucky. Now we are proud to offer a large variety of services within the online media and interactive multimedia industry. We continue to grow thanks to the support of our loyal customers.

Software-as-as-Service

CyberStudio, a web-based content management system, was launched in May 2004. Version 1 of this system allowed Cyber View customers to have a custom-designed web site, with the added ability to add, change and remove content at their finger tips using the web-based system. The CyberStudio content management system has been many improvements and revisions over the years. Most recently, CyberStudio version 5 has been released with several new features to empower Cyber View customers to manage their web site more efficiently. ResLife Portal (originally named "myRA Portal") is a residential life management system which debuted in June 2007. The ResLife Portal is a web-based system, hosted by Cyber View over the Internet, with best-practice features and modules geared to the residential life side of any college or university housing. The ResLife Portal aides residential life staff at colleges and universities to easily promote events to residents through popular social networking. Partnerships

In the fall of 2004, Cyber View initially partnered with web hosting provider Hostway. In an effort to continue to expand and broaden Cyber View's capabilities, Cyber View partnered with Rackspace Cloud in November 2009. Rackspace Cloud provides web hosting through a cloud computing technique of combining resources of multiple computer services to dynamically scale to meet needs of traffic bandwidth and computing power. According to a Wall Street Journal article, "Rackspace's platform is 60% larger than Google's." Both CyberStudio and the ResLife Portal are proudly powered by the server capacity of the Rackspace Cloud.
